Honey Buttermilk Cornbread
I have made many variations of cornbread but I have to say this is by far the best I’ve ever made….like EVER! It’s moist, sweet, and certainly not made to last in any household! Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter melted
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup flour

Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl using a hand mixer, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs on at a time, pour in buttermilk and honey and mix until they are blended completely. Stir in flour, cornmeal, and baking soda until it forms a batter. Pour batter into well greased 9" round baking dish. Place in oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, once out of the oven spread more butter over cornbread. Allow cornbread to cool and eat up!
