Spiked Caramel Apple Spice
Hey my loves! A lot of you have asked for some of my favorite holiday drink recipes. This is definitely one of my favorites and it’s so easy to make. I’ll be honest I’m a simple girl when it comes to drinks and I prefer wine, champagne, or just a straight shot when drinking. However, during the holiday season I feel the need to be festive and sip on something warm with a punch and this apple cider gives you just that. I have recipes for my homemade caramel sauce under my recipe for banana bread cheesecake however, store bought caramel works fine. I also describe how to make homemade whipped cream in the recipe notes as well. I hope this drink makes you tipsy and merry 🙂

Pour in half and half and simmer for additional 5 minutes. Remove from heat and pour 2 oz into mug and pour in cider. Top with whipped cream and garnish with cinnamon stick and mint leaf and enjoy!
I have recipes for my homemade caramel sauce under my banana bread cheesecake post, and homemade whipped cream is super easy to make; place super cold heavy cream into a bowl with powdered sugar and whip on high speed with a hand mixer until stiff peaks form.
